'Starmount’s plans for park gain allies'

There is a meeting tonight of the city's Parks & Rec Committee, reports Michelle Jarboe in today's News & Record today, and Ron Wilson of Starmount Co will present plans to turn the 6 acres at the corner of Friendly and Green Valley--the "overgrown land" as Jarboe describes it--into a park. [I prefer to consider the patch "untouched," a natural screen. "Overgrown" implies that trees and undergrowth are somehow out of place in Greensboro!?
